Who exactly created HIPPA?
No matter where I look I’m left confused. I know the U.S. Congress enacted it and the DHHS issued the HIPAA privacy rule… but who actually created it? Would be a great help THANK YOU!
Congress created it. HIPPA is a Federal law.
All Federal laws in the USA are created by Congress, and signed into law by the President.
