Is it a HIPAA violation if a patient takes pictures of hospital staff? And what if they end up online?
I know employees should not be taking pictures of either patients or even each other at the hospital. But what if a patient starts taking pictures of the hospital and the hospital staff?
HIPAA says absolutely nothing about the privacy rights of hospital staff. It only pertains to the personal health information of the patients.
