HIPAA violation??? Please help.?

I have epilepsy. My husband has FMLA due to the fact that if I have a seizure, he has to stay home and care for me after the seizure. Well last night, his supervisor asked him a bunch of questions about my seizures and my health. My husband refused to speak to him about it stating that it is, “her personal health information, and I don’t have to share that with you.”
Then the supervisor went into another room and started talking about my seizures and how he shouldn’t be able to have FMLA. The three gals in the room all came to my hubby later that shift and shared with him what the super had said.
I am not too happy that he was talking about my health information in front of others. They have no right to know about my seizure disorder.
Is there anything I can do? Does the HIPAA law cover me in this situation? Please help.

it seems to me that he already knew the information and had to get it from someone, and that he was just gossiping and sharing his opinion about the matter…. i dont think he broke any hippa laws since he is not a doctor and was clearly just making small talk.
