Junk Debt Buyers and HIPAA laws…?
My husband received a dunning letter from a debt purchasing agency that included a full record of the ER visit that caused the debt. It included all treatment rec’d, even down to the type of medication administered. Is this legal? Thank you.
is what legal == a collection company of course can mail out dunning letters — listing the charges again again yes since it would allow you to see exactly what is be being billed!!!!
