If you found out one of your employees violated the HIPAA (patient confidentiality), what would be some actions you would take?
As a nurse, the policy in any facility I have worked in is immediate termination for any HIPPA violation. This protects the company from law suits by not retaining an employee with questionable integrity and a history of violating HIPPA laws.
