Is it a HIPAA violation if a co-worker photocopies my work schedule for her own benefit?
We are both nurses and she recently was arrested for DUI. She now has my work schedule to see what days we are working together so she can ask for a ride.
That has nothing to do with HIPAA. If your work schedules are publicly available, there is no violation of anything if she copies it.
