I want to know is this a hippa violation?
I went thur a treatment center several years ago, I now work at the center. Last week a nurse that treated me when I went thur treatment there called me a crack head in front of consumers, old and new staff members. It said in the hipaa law that if anyone use personal information for personal use, or malicious harm they can be fined.
From what you’ve described (assuming you used), this is very much so a HIPAA violation. Agree with first post.
