I called in sick to work for a weekend & wasn’t sick?
Now they want a Dr.s note, what can i do? I never really saw the Dr.
if i fake a note can they check with my physician? is that legal under HIPAA??
You should probably ask this under the legal section, but unless you signed something giving them permission to have access to those records, which I doubt, they would not be able to ask that. However, you’re still going to be at risk if you do not comply to their request. You might be best to just come clean and ask for them to give you a second chance.
