Dentists, DAs, or RDAs, please help?

I am trying to figure how much would be a reasonable amount to ask for when begining work.
Dentists, how much would you pay a DA with the following qualifications:
Coronal polish certified
radiology certified
HIPAA certified
CPR certified
A.S. Degree
(plans to take RDA w/in 6 months)
Already vaccinated
recent graduate of a private junior college
5 weeks in office experience unpaid

DA’s and RDA’s how did you go about negotiating your wages when first starting out, and how much would you expect to start out in todays economy?

Specifically Fresno County and surrounding areas.

Thank you
Thank you. I was hoping to start at about $14 an hour so I was happy to hear that the range is $12-$15

You have the credentials on paper but not very much actual experience. It is real world experience that dentists want not how good things look on paper.

Unless you have a lot of clinical experience under your belt, don’t even think that you can negotiate any kind of salary. That means you take what you can get. Someone with your credentials and in your neck of the woods, expect about $12-$15 per hr to start. Most offices want at least 2 years experience and if you don’t have that, don’t expect very much in terms of pay scale.
