Dental records protected by HIPAA laws?
I am a 26 yr old married woman. I went to my dentist and didn’t have insurance, so I had a little trouble paying my bill. Anyways, the dentist ended up sending my bill to my dad, in his name, to his address. He was sending it to my address in my name, but after I didn’t pay it for a month, he sent it to my dad. Isn’t this a HIPAA violation?? Thanks!
