hipaa individual coverage
I lost insurance through my spouse’s policy–what now?
I had insurance through my spouse’s old job but I lost the coverage. Presently, I do not have access to group coverage through my new job;, can HIPAA help me as an individual?
Well, yes, if you can afford it.
You’d have to talk to a local agent.
I have a friend with a hipaa policy – she’s got cancer. Her premium is $2500 a month. COBRA would be much, much cheaper, if you’re cobra eligible.
