Is it allowed to publish anonymous medical case records on an Internet website?
With all health record privacy regulations such as HIPAA in mind – is it allowed to publish medical case records on an Internet website *without* a consent from the relevant patients, as long as the medical record is anonymous?
Will such a website be liable in any way on that information?
As long as the parties involved are anonymous as you’ve specified and as long as the source is indicated so that copyright info is not infringed upon.
