What programs are associated or mandated by HIPAA?
Hippaa is about private medical information. No one can look at your files without your consent. They will have you fill out paperwork at a new office visit or when you buy contact lenses.
Medical records are interesting. You can seal your information, billing , etc. It makes it dificult for Medical establishments to recover if you default or do not pay. It may hurt your credit , but you can get it thrown out because they have to have Private Information to collect.
Call it a Catch 22 if you like.
