Medical Collection – PAID OC?
I have gone through the entire process followed instructions ON WHYCHAT to the letter , however i still have one OC that refuses to remove my account from the CA and my credit report. The response they sent to my follow up is below
“The hospital stricty abides by hipaa regulations and our legal counsel has advised us that there is no violation in providing protected health information to an outside entity for the purpose of collecting a bill.”
Keep in mind the bills were all paid via a certified check in just the manner described in the hipaa letter process.
What should I do now?
Did you use his follow up CRA, etc., dispute letters?
His HIPAA letter series is a step by step process and you should follow each step as they are laid out.
Since he hangs out on creditboards.com, maybe you should do some reading and post your questions in the Medical Forum on that site.
