is this a hipaa violation?
on tuesday the 11th i was fired from my job bevause my boss said she called the local hospital and they told her i was there on sunday not monday and for my leg not my head and so on does this qualify for a violation
Yes, they are not allowed to disclose any information about you to any personnel especially if you requested to be kept quiet about your stay at the hospital.
