What is HIPAA policy and its procedure?
Can somebody please explain to me about HIPAA policy and procedures specifically in context to Patient Health Information (PHI)?
Let me steer you is correct, however hospitals & the like come under regular inspection by the government, sometimes these inspections go so far as to look into a patients history, when this is the case, & thanks to FOIA oversights or lack-there-of when the state looks into these any citizen has access to what would otherwise be a violation of HIPAA by paying $15 & filing a FOIA request.
