Is this a HIPAA violation?
I was at the ER tonight and they brought me back to triage. Instead of taking me in a room, they took me into a hallway with 3 other patients. The RN asked me about my medical history, height, weight and current symptoms. Everyone in the hallway could hear everything I was saying. I heard everything everyone else was saying. Is this a reportable HIPAA violation?
Yeah i think that’s suppose to be confidentiality it’s your business!!
