If Bush was a South American dictator, would Fox News have called him a socialist?
For 8 years, Fox News claimed that Bush was a “compassionate conservative.” However, if he were the President of Venezuela and he decided to expand government control of medical care more than any president in the previous 40 years, double the size of the Department of Education, vastly expanded the regulatory state with Sarbanes-Oxley, nationalize half the banks, and bailed out the car industry, wouldn’t he have been called a socialist?
This is the man who many Americans still pretend was a free market advocate. Might Bush have actually been a far-left president, considering that his policies were to the left of Hugo Chavez?
I often wondered how the mass media would cover Obama if he was a Republican, same speeches , same everything, just a Republican
As far as Bush, he is gone, he cannot repair the economy, he cannot control the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan, he cannot make polices for America, that is Obama’s job and he needs to wake up to that fact, blaming Bush, does not fix the economy, it does not effect the wars, Obama wanted this job very badly, now he has to stand on his own two feet and be a man about it************************************
