My company says that I am required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act to take certification test on a quarterly basis. I want to know if that is in fact true and if it is, why isn’t every employee required to take a certification test, especially those who are responsible for commissions or finance?
It’s hard to say without further details, but there seems to be a number of instances where certification is required on a quartely basis. I’m sure not all employees meet the standards needed to require certification. Here are a few links, but it would probably be better if you did the research.
