why dont liberals understand America will NEVER recover as long as the market is over-regulated?
currently the market is wayyyy over regulated and liberals will never accept the changes that need to be made in the market so NEW businesses can be formed. Something that liberals dont understand is new businesses cant comply with regulations and usually are put out of business by them but over time as they increase working capital they are able to increase the quality of their product or service. This is just the facts of life not everyone has 3 million dollars to comply with the accounting standards Sarbanes Oxley imposes so all businesses that could grow by raising capital cant.
I disagree completely. The problem is regulation that does not work. There was a wave of deregulation that started with the Reagan administration, and supported enough dirty dealing that the most dishonest got to be the most influential, the wealthiest, and the most avid supporters of Republicans who called for more deregulation. The concept behind federal regulations is to ensure that the marketplace is as fair as possible.
It is true that increased working capital CAN increase the quality of products and services. But that’s not all it can do. Right now businesses are sitting on huge piles of capital because they would rather invest in the money markets than in innovation and expansion. They also put a great deal of money in lobbyists and super-PACs in an effort to get a more favorable environment for themselves.
