Microsoft Access Database?
I am taking a test in Access and have the following question:
Data validation best refers to:
a) duplicating a primary key in a table
b) preventing duplicate records from bein entered into a table
c) correcting data entry errors after they are entered into a table
Personally, I would go for b) but I am not sure. Another question is:
Which of the following would ensure that a value of 15 or greater is entered in a field?
a) Sarbanes Oxley Act
b)Field type
c)Validation rule
My guess is c) but I am not 100% sure. Thanks for the help!
Both answers are C
Validation is an immediate check of the data to make sure it falls in the set parameters
A validation rule could ensure than only numbers greater than 15 would be allowed in a cell
